In response to a PIL filed by Mukesh Sharma, Bombay High Courtissued notices to Amitabh Bachchan and Sony Entertainment Television.
Mukesh Sharma filled a complaint about Kaun Banega Crorepatipromo (KBC 4), which offends Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose TumMujhe Khoon slogan of the main tumhe Azadi doonga. Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice GS Godbole asked both Bachchanand Sony TV to file its reply by 28 this month.
The Court has also asked Mukesh to I & B and AdvertisingStandard Council of India as respondents.
Bounce down the seriousness of the argument, attorney general board of Film Certification (CBFC) Rui Rodrigues said that thepromo is not offensive, but it was fun and the accompanyingcommittee went into action to remove it.
